In June Artsource announced Ignite, a new funding initiative that encourages their members to dream big and apply for funding for an ambitious project. I am please to announce that I was selected to be part of this project which is proudly supported by BHP Billiton, the initiative focuses on projects which ‘ignited’ the artists’ practice and allows them to take the next step in their careers.

New Parquetry Panel editions for Kate & Able
July 06, 2014
I have recently been working on a series of editions for Kate & Able design store in Fremantle, WA . These works are derived from some drawings I have been working on for some parquetry flooring patterns. The works pay homage to traditional characteristics such as pattern contrast and illusion. Each piece is made from hand assembled real wood veneers bonded to a solid timber backing. each piece is hand finished with french polish and cabinet polish.
